I have a 15 month old and a regular baby monitor right now. But I am pregnant and wondering what to do when the new baby comes. Should I get a multi-room monitor (one that I can hear both babies simultaneously, not switching back and forth from channel to channel), or just get another monitor and use two? Also, if I get another monitor, will there be interference?
Any suggestions for a decent one for under 100? The reviews I’ve read in the range haven’t been great but any suggestions would be helpful.
I was looking at just a traditional monitor. I would like to spend under . Its hard to go by alot of reviews online because most people live in subdivisions with alot of activity.. I dont. I live in the boonies hah.. so maybe interference wouldnt be as bad..
In this episode of Gear Daddy, Daddy Brad travels to the ABC Baby Expo to learn about the latest baby products from Avent Baby. The brand was started by a dad and their first product was a baby bottle. Just like the first baby bottles, the latest Avent bottles are designed to reduce colic. Other products include a baby monitor for the nursery that eliminates interference, and features a nightlight, music, and intercom. I bought the summer infant day and night video monitor today. when i began to set it up, i realized that it was picking up someone else’s baby’s crib perfectly, and picking up their conversation. I know that if I can see them then they can see me. That makes me a little uncomfortable knowing that someone else can watch my daughter and pick up our conversations. Should I return the monitor, or is there something I can do to block the interference?

I want to use a wifi based camera as a baby video monitor to eliminate interference and the possibility of others being able to see our house on their monitor. However, I don’t want to have to view the webcam on my computer, I want a handheld monitor instead. Has anyone used something like this?
We recently purchased a wireless video baby monitor, and although it does work, there is significant interference in the signal due to my computer room with several PC’s and servers. Is there a way to boost this signal to compensate for the interference, or to set up a repeater for the signal?
